![]() But there is no reason to abandon a game anymore because of a bad layout. This may use some time and work because you can not drag streets, you have to tear down and place them new. So even when you build "Wrong" - whatever this may mean for you - you can correct that with the move-tool. With this feature you can drag buildings everywhere on your island (maybe even onto other islands you own, I have not checked that yet). You can do so by using the small hand icon on the building bar or just hover over the building, press and hold the left mousebutton for a second and then move it. You are able to move every building in the game, including the harbor in the campaign. What makes Anno 1800 so different is it´s move-tool. ![]() ![]() You can still do that in Anno 1800 and it is the most efficient way to play the game. They placed down roads as grid and filled the gaps between the roads with the buildings. In older Anno Games experienced players started with a "perfect" or "nearly perfect" layout, a kind of blueprint for the whole city, including every building up to the cathedral in Anno 1404 for example.
